  • I took a credit report on the wrong person or company, how do I undo it?
    Call UC’s customer service on 08-670 90 00 and explain the situation, and they will guide you on what to do.
  • How do I get support on questions regarding invoicing?
    Do you have questions about your invoice or want to change your billing address? Send an e-mail to faktureringen@uc.se. This is also how you get help to have your invoice sent by e-mail.
  • How do I become a customer?
    To buy UC’s credit reports via SEB, you need to be a corporate customer to SEB and have access to SEB’s internet banking services. Log in to Business Arena, and then go to Products and services.
  • How do I terminate the service?
    Send an e-mail to hej@uc.se and tell us that you want to terminate your Business Arena service. Don't forget to write your organisation number.
  • What is the price of a credit report?
    To see the prices, you need to be an SEB corporate customer. Please log in to Business Arena for more information.

Legitimate need

A credit information report include details, scores or guidance provided for the recipient (the client) to make an assessment of someone else's creditworthiness. In order for UC to disclose a credit  report with information concerning a natural person it is required that the recipient has a legitimate need according to section 9 1. in the Swedish Credit information act (KuL). Need for credit assessment or credit monitoring in order for the recipient of the information to be able to make a financial assessment constitutes a legitimate need. In order for UC to disclose a credit report on a natural person for purposes other than credit assessment or monitoring it is required, for example, that there is an agreement between the parties. Other legal conditions that make it necessary for the recipient to make a financial risk assessment are, for example, guarantee, employment or rent conditions.

Copy of credit report (copy to inquired)

When a credit report on a natural person (the requested) is disclosed the one as the disclosure intends to will receive a notification of this (so-called copy to inquired). The credit reporting copy shows the information that the creditor received in the present case. In addition to details of the scores and guidance, ‘The Copy’ also contains information about who conducts the credit reporting business, contact information for data protection officers (if there is such a requirement according to. Art. 37 GDPR), purposes and legal basis for the personal data processing, categories of personal data processed, from which the data is retrieved (Source), storage periods, information on the right to access and correction of personal data, categories of recipients and who ordered the credit report (the recipient). The copy also contains information on the possibility of setting complaints to the Data protection authority.
